Hi – I am looking for proof of a Rebeckah Davis (m. to Lemuel Allis/Ellis) relationship to her parents, Isaac Davis and Charity Hall – or to find out who her real parents are, if they are not her parents.

I come thru Truman Leonard m. to Roxanna Allis (daughter of Rebecca Davis & Lemuel Allis/Ellis) & their son, Truman Leonard m. to Mary Ann Meadows; their daughter, Amy Louise Leonard m. to Heber Allen; their daughter Viola Margaret Allen Alexander m. to Charles Rodoph Wing; and their daughter, Barbara Wing Coleman m. to my Dad, Norman Kenney Coleman.

I have the marriage record of Lemuel Allis/Ellis to Rebecca Davis as 20 Jan 1779. http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?db=BarbourCTMar&h=480550&ti=0&indiv=try&gss=pt&ssrc=pt_t10876379_p777276788_kpidz0q3d777276788z0q26pgz0q3d32768z0q26pgplz0q3dpid.

I also have Isaac Davis’s will, which mentions a Rebecka as his daughter.
Charity Hall, his wife, is born in Stafford, Tolland, Connecticut. 18 AUG 1723, Connecticut Births and Christenings, 1649-1906.
Lemuel Allis/Ellis’s, husband of Rebecca Davis, is born 22 Jun 1747 in
Somers, Tolland, CT, Connecticut Births and Christenings, 1649-1906. He is the son of Reverend Samuel Allis/Ellis who died 16 December 1796 in Somers, Tolland, Connecticut, http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=AL&GSpartial=1&GSbyrel=all&GSst=8&GScntry=4&GSsr=6081&GRid=16230371&.

http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~pamrob/fam1913.html. I have many proofs up to Rebecca Davis thru her daughter Roxanna Allis m. to Truman Leonard. I have many proofs from Isaac Davis & Charity Hall to their progenitors. I have many proofs linking Lemuel Allis/Ellis’s to his progenitors. I just have to establish solid proof of Rebecca Davis to her parents.

This URL links to find a grave citations that link the family as well as gives familysearch.org numbers for each name (linking to sources/cites listed for the family, including research I have done). http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=mr&GRid=113020836&MRid=48851660&

Can you help me or steer me in the right path? Thank you so much! Sincerely, Jackie Coleman
